In the forums FMA, FME, FDA, LECA, FLP, specialists define their service area, organise themselves within their group, present themselves independently in the market and make their specific contribution within the association as a whole. This preserves the group’s individuality and builds on the community’s strengths. As a purchasing cooperative, ESG’s procurement services complement the range of services offered by FAMAB.
The forums
This is the home of the stand construction professionals. They are experienced partners when it comes to relaying corporate messages in exhibition communication. They create and realise exhibition presentations – not only exhibition stands.
The FME members are specialists in live communication. They present products and companies purposefully and successfully. They rely on creative concepts, perfect execution and sound cost management.
This forum is home to companies and design studios which create product presentations and brand philosophies for trade fairs. They are specialists in the field of temporary architecture and the intense competition in the smallest space.
Members of LECA are specialists in the conception, consulting, planning and execution of national event catering.
This forum organises all companies whose goods and services form the basis of events and exhibitions: specialist suppliers, system providers, service and host companies, event technology, event locations, production companies – in short: all partners indispensable to direct communication.
FAMAB members use the informational advantage provided by the association to offer their customers competent consulting in keeping with the times. They are the professionals in the sector and are accepted into the association on purely qualitative criteria.
Founded in 1963, the association is today much in demand as a partner in all matters relating to direct communication. It assists companies in the selection of the right partner for exhibition participation as well as for emotional brand management.

At an international level, the FAMAB direct business communications association maintains contact to European decision-makers via various committees. FAMAB itself is a founder member of IFES - International Federation of Exhibition Services, an organisation of 15 exhibition and event related associations around the world.
At a national level, FAMAB is a member of AUMA , the German trade fair industry association, and a sponsoring member of BDA, the confederation of German employers’ associations, both based in Berlin. In this way, the association maintains contact with the decision-making institutions in Germany.
