1. First coaching session
The first personal contact with your starter package partner
On the basis of the five trade fair Ws, the trade fair construction company will work out further details for your trade fair presentation with your collaboration. At this stage it is important to determine the objectives of the trade fair and to define the trade fair message. At the same time, you and the company clarify further proceedings.
There are two reasons for this:
Using a questionnaire developed by the starter package network, your partner will draft a marketing plan exactly tailored to meet your needs. This does not automatically include a trade fair presentation; your consultation will be independent of individual media.
2. Second coaching session / re-briefing
The right way to communicate at the trade fair
Together you and your partner will draw up a concept for participating in the trade fair. The main focus here will be on planning the necessary ancillary measures as well as fixing the aims and core statements.
During the re-briefing, you will have to determine key items so that planning for your trade fair booth can get under way.
And true to the proverb * “There’s no second chance for a first meeting” *, the coaching session will help you on your way to becoming a trade fair expert: from structuring trade fair communication to the follow-up work.
3. Designing your trade fair booth
From the second to the third dimension
The first coaching session and the re-briefing have taken place, the objectives of the trade fair and target group have been determined, the functions of the booth have been decided, the number/form of the exhibits has been clarified, a trade fair motto has been found. The next step is to design your individual trade fair presentation. Here your starter package partner will create a three-dimensional solution from the known requirements. A draft of your trade fair booth.
4. Order placement for your booth
Now we’re getting down to business
Up to this point, you can still decide not to take part in a trade fair, as only now will you place a binding order. All registrations with the trade fair company will be made for you; your individual booth will be produced, constructed and handed over to you on the date agreed.
At this stage we are talking about a period of approx. six weeks before the trade fair; your partner will of course be available for questions and consultations up until the trade fair starts. He will also assist you during the trade fair.
5. Follow-up
Analysis of success after the trade fair
Your trade fair presentation is not ended once the trade fair is over. The follow-up work is also decisive for the success achieved by your company through this participation. None of your potential (new) customers should fall by the wayside; therefore it is important to follow up the contacts initiated. Here too, your partner can of course assist you with useful tips.
However, the success of your overall participation in the trade fair will also be analysed jointly. What was good? What could be improved? What should the next trade fair presentation be like? Because with the gained experience of your first trade fair you will find “As soon as one fair is over, the next is on its way.”
